WARRANTY:

Dakota Clock Repair warranties the workmanship and any parts installed during the repair or adjustment of your clock will meet current Horological practices in common use for that age and type of clock. Dakota Clock Repair warranties only the labor and parts we install for a period of one year. Dakota Clock Repair does not warranty that another condition will not develop making your clock inoperative. If another condition develops that is not covered by the above statement, it is the responsibility of the owner of the clock to pay any additional costs necessary to make the clock operate to the satisfaction of the clock owner.

To qualify for a warranty claim the clock must be defective. Dakota Clock Repair will be the sole source of the decision on whether a condition noted by the clock owner constitutes a defective condition. Dakota Clock Repair defines defective as a condition where that particular clock is not operating in a manner similar to other clocks of like design and age. Before any clock will be considered for warranty repair it must be setup, adjusted, and operated in accordance with the instructions provided by Dakota Clock Repair. If the clock owner refuses to setup, adjust, and operate the clock in accordance with the instructions provided by Dakota Clock Repair any claim for warranty coverage is void.

It is the responsibility of the clock owner to provide proof of the type of service and the date the service was accomplished before any consideration for warranty coverage will be provided. It is the responsibility of the owner of the clock to present the clock to Dakota Clock Repair at 306 Main Street South, Glen Ullin, North Dakota. Dakota Clock Repair is not responsible for costs incurred in getting the clock to Dakota Clock Repair for warranty coverage, or for returning the clock to the owner.

SHIPPING:

Dakota Clock Works ships by common carrier. If your clock movement, clock or any component is damaged in shipment you must notate the particular damage to the carton directly on the freight bill that you sign, in order for your claim to be valid. Examples of such notation may be A dented box in two corners@ or A box has come apart on side@, or A box is pleated on bottom@, etc.. Should you fail to notate any damage on your delivery freight bill, your ability to seek reimbursement for damages to the clock inside the box will be void!

If there is obvious damage to the clock or any component of the clock and you notice it while delivery is being made, you should refuse the shipment. Please notify us immediately of such refusal of shipment. We will handle the claim process. Please remember, if you accept the delivery by a freight company of a damaged clock or any component of a clock, even if the damage is hidden until the carton is open, and you fail to note any indication of damage directly on the freight bill, we will be unable to assist you with your claim. In that event, you will have to process your claim with the freight company. As such, it is imperative that you inspect your clock immediately after delivery.

We will not accept the return of any clock shipped to you unless such return is due to your refusal of the clock movement for the noted cause of damage at the time of its delivery to you. If you have refused to receive a clock you must contact us immediately by calling (701) 348-9133. If you are calling after hours, please leave a message providing your name, address and telephone number where you can be reached and an agent of Dakota Clock Repair will return your call upon receipt of the same.

PLEASE NOTE; Dakota Clock Repair will not be responsible for shipping and/or freight charges on returned items. Such charges shall be the responsibility of the customer.
